Origin Story
Breakwater Construction was founded in 2022 by Bobby Esterly, after completing his Associates in Science & Associates in Engineering in 2017 he found himself working in the marine construction industry for the summer. Bobby is an avid outdoorsman and realized quickly that he loved the environment and this was the perfect long term job for him. He worked with a local company for 8 years prior to deciding to branch out on his own, opting to grow a company and work towards a future for his boys. Bobby takes great pride in his work in the Eastern North Carolina community and while he specializes in all things marine construction, he's been known to tackle exterior construction projects because he loves being given creative freedom and enjoys a change in scenery on occasion. Rest assured with Bobby on your project you will have the highest industry standards and a beautiful result.
